Urn Ornament: CNC cut 3/4" XPS foam with transfered and cartooned pounce.

Urn Ornament: Fully carved (rasp and sand to smooth texture)

Ornament Scrolls: Sprayed Burnt Siena (previously hand primed with a thick layer of PPG Gripper)

Scroll detail: Watery wash of black to deepen the low points of the carving. This was a quick way to incorporate the designer request of "burnt sienna base but also black."

In the original rough carved sample we tried black base and burnt sienna base with different amounts of gold on each side. Final ornament shows how we found used both burnt sienna and black in the base and applied the gold with a lighter touch.

False pro return: wet blend + sponge on edges

Priming all the plastic lattic that will be a base for the proscenium decoration.

A section of the false pro all assembled. Gold rope trim, plastic wide lattic, and cnc cut out lattic all painted seperately and assembled by carpenters.
